It’s hard not to think about the passage of time as a new year begins. It’s probably because I’m getting older, but the comment I hear the most these days is, “Wow, a year does NOT seem as long as it used to.” What seems like an obvious answer is that the older you get, the shorter a year is in proportion to the life you’ve lived. This year I thought about what this might look like in a picture. Let’s take a look at the proportion of 1 year to age.
It’s interesting that around age 21 you sort of reach the point when time truly begins to fly.
